An Inviting Office Space
01 Before
I had a vision for the entry of my home long before I started working with an architect. My room was a blank slate and now it was time to really make it stand out with an inviting entryway and functional cabinetry with hardware that glimmers!
02 After
My fabulous designer Caroline from RKM in St Louis, MO was able to help me pick out a functional design that spanned the wall and met all of my storage needs and MORE. Then I worked with my builder Brad to find a way to divide the office from the entryway without creating a closed off space. We designed a custom glass wall to create the separation I craved
Finally the best part. The decor! I wanted a statement desk so I selected the Marisa Burl Wood Desk from CB2. It was in stock and ready for delivery within one week. I have absolutely no patience for long lead times and will scour the web for a dupe if I have to wait more than one month the achieve the look I am going for. Once I had the desk, my vision started to come alive. I found an assortment of gorgeous accessories from Crate and Barrel, Home Goods, and even repurposed pieces from other rooms in the house just because these looked better in the office.
